In the last 20 years, the rate of ADHD diagnosis has jumped nearly 500%, with an estimated 40% misdiagnosis rate*. Due to the lack of conclusive diagnostic brain scans, blood tests, or educational tools, ADHD diagnosis is heavily subjective, based on the opinions of parents, teachers, and physicians. Numerous environmental factors, such as nutritional adequacy or physical activity habits, are frequently forgotten when determining a diagnosis and considering a well-rounded treatment plan. More than 50 conditions exist that closely mimic the symptoms commonly seen in ADHD. More than 10 of these are caused by or effected by diet.
