Rita is a registered dietitian nutritionist and is licensed by the state of Illinois. She earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Science and completed her dietetic internship at Dominican University. During her time, she focused on community nutrition and cultural diversity. She became a dietitian to help people understand the relationship that food has on both health and disease. She believes positive lifestyle changes can be successfully achieved through a combination of mindful eating, behavior modification, and routine exercise. Rita can help you achieve your personal goals and improve your quality of life.
Rita understands the nutritional needs of all ages and knows how difficult it can be to manage daily meals, grocery shopping, and activities simultaneously. She uses scientific-based evidence in her practice to reach the most desirable outcomes.
Rita enjoys eating out, cooking, spending time outdoors, walking, gardening, and biking with her husband, children and friends.
