I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg College, a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent clinical psychology from Montclair State University, and Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent clinical psychology from the University of Hartford. I have experience working in private practice, community mental health, residential, and therapeutic school settings providing individual, group, and family therapy. I specialize in working with children and adolescents and have also had experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
One of my main interests and primary roles over the years has involved conducting evaluations including learning difference/disability evaluations, assessing for intellectual disabilities, ADHD evaluations, assessment of traumatic brain injuries, assessing for dementia, and evaluating other psychological symptoms for the purposes of accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. I have experience with evaluating individuals between the ages of 5 and 89. I believe that proper treatment and education begin with adequate assessment by professionals and accurate diagnosis. I have spent much of my career doing just that for many individuals and their families.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I try taking advantage of living near the oceanfront. I also love reading, cooking, baking, and trying out new recipes. I love animals, especially my two dogs.
