I received my master’s degree in Psychology from Rosalind Franklin University and my bachelors in Psychology from Lake Forest College. Prior to matriculating at LFC, I spent many years raising three kids and living abroad. As such, I have a unique perspective about cross-cultural issues, including isolation, depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts, as well as issues facing parents and children. I also have worked with young children and teens suffering from trauma and abuse who also struggle with issues of family detachment, anger, and low self-esteem.
In my free time, I enjoy spending interactive time with my grandchildren, cooking traditional South Asian and Middle Eastern food, and watching classic 1960’s sitcoms.
