I firmly believe in meeting the client in where they are in their life’s journey, creating a place free of judgment or barriers. My theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe everyone has the chance for personal growth and can benefit from therapy. The mind can create cognitive distortions, inaccurate thoughts that produce negative emotions. My belief is that challenging those negative thoughts at their onset is the best line of defense to keep you from reinforcing the negative thought pattern.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. We enjoy family game night and picnics on the lake. I’m a foodie and love trying new ethnic restaurants. I enjoy reading and exercising. I plan to start training for my first marathon soon!
