MY APPROACH TO DIET/NUTRITION:My approach to treatment is centered around the fact that everyone is not created equal and we all have different needs based on our goals, mindset, and overall body composition. What works for person A may not work for person B and that is okay! I like to first set realistic and measurable goals with my clients, so they feel a sense of accomplishment when they reach their goals and only have room for growth. I tend to follow the “non-diet approach” and the philosophy of mindful eating, which I feel is essential to live a happy and healthy lifestyle. I believe it is important to include all essential food groups in the daily diet to receive the benefits of all the vitamins and minerals they offer and to not exclude any specific group unless its needed based on food sensitivity/intolerance.
ABOUT ME:Ever since I was three years-old, dance was a huge part of my life up until my last year of high school. I competed with my dance studio as well as going a step further and challenging myself by trying out for sports teams. Being this active for so long, I’ve always had a true passion for health and wellness. While I unfortunately do not dance as much anymore, I try to attend classes here and then to keep up with it as much as possible. My hobbies now include exercising, cooking, spending quality time with friends and family, and relaxing on the beach during the summer months. I find that the gym is my “happy place” where I can release any stress that may be building up inside and it’s such a great way to start my day. I also love to experiment in the kitchen with new recipes that I come across, which I love to share with friends and family!
