I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University Chicago. In addition to my education, I have led divorce recovery groups, helping many people work through their pain. Some of the other groups I have led include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Grief, Social Skills and Single Mothers. I have worked in the corporate world for over a decade. I truly enjoy working with individuals as well as couples and families.
My personal philosophy of counseling is to consider therapy a partnership between you and me. I will empower, encourage and support you in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, which includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Talk Therapy, and Holistic Therapy. My main goal is to improve the quality of your life and your relationships with others.
In my free time I love to hang out with my family and friends, work out and walk my two dogs. I love to relax by reading, kayaking and meditating.
