Empowerment through small steps is key in health and wellness. As a registered dietitian, my approach is to encourage my clients and guide them to make incremental lifestyle changes that are simple, feasible, and tailored to each person. Through positivity and evidence-based nutrition recommendations, I hope to make a difference with everyone so that they can feel like a better version of themselves.
After receiving both my Bachelor and Master of Science at the University of Illinois, I have worked in a hospital and an in-home care setting where I worked with various conditions and ages, from children to the elderly. During that time, I have worked extensively with diabetes, weight management, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease, and general healthful eating. Through a non-diet approach, I was able to help my patients improve outcomes and reach their personal goals and hope I can with you as well.
During my spare time, I love baking, reading, walking, biking, trying out new restaurants, and playing board games with friends. Time allowing, my husband and I like to travel, especially abroad.
