Education and Experience: I am a Registered & Licensed Dietitian. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Iowa State University, and I completed my dietetic internship at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. During my supervised practice, I gained experience working in various settings. My passion is for sports nutrition; therefore, I was able to complete a final rotation at University of Minnesota in the Sports Nutrition Department. However, I also had clinical rotations working one on one with patients in a variety of clinical settings.
I currently work part time at Texas Christian University in the Sports Nutrition Department and thoroughly enjoy building relationships with clients of all ages and conditions!
My Philosophy: I am a strong believer that balance and moderation are the keys for a healthy lifestyle. I preach having respect for your body by honoring hunger ques and not depriving yourself. I also do not believe “one fits all diet.” Therefore, I will assist you in making lifestyle changes that work for your needs.
Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy being active! I like to run, swim (I use to be a competitive swimmer), do yoga, Pilates, weight lift, hike and bike. I love cooking and baking, as well as spending time with friends and family. I am a huge explorer; thus, I adore traveling and seeing the world!
