Life inevitably has its ups and downs and I’m here to help you navigate through them! My goal as a therapist is to provide an empathic and non-judgmental environment to help you on your own personal growth and equip you with the tools needed to thrive.
My therapeutic approach is derived from using Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which allows you to develop a deeper understanding of your emotions, thoughts and behaviors while learning the skills you need to achieve your goals. We will work collaboratively to identify your strengths and tailor them into effective coping strategies to manage your life transitions, reduce stressors and anxiety, improve mood and change patterns of behavior and relationships. As your therapist, I will be working at your pace to develop a unique therapy experience to assist you on your personal journey.
I earned my Master of Arts (M.A.) and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University and earned my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Montclair State University. I have over four years of experience working with clients of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds.
Outside of counseling, I like staying active by going on hikes, going to the beach, trying new foods and cooking, listening to music, watching TV shows/movies and most importantly, spending time with my family and friends.
