My therapeutic treatment approaches include Person-Centered, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness and Play Therapy in individual and group settings.
Counseling Philosophy: I am a mental health therapist serving English and Spanish speakers. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, non-judgmental relationship with my clients. We can work together to better understand and resolve challenges faced in life. I believe in creating a validating environment regardless of an individual’s stage in life. I perceive the therapeutic alliance between counselor and client to be “the relationship that heals”. My belief that all individuals are capable of positive change and growth can be fostered through the understanding that each person has a unique set of needs. I work to create an environment of comfort that will address and support these needs.
My hobbies are spending time with my family and friends, volunteering in the community, jogging and traveling.
