Education: I earned my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the College of New Jersey. Recently, I worked as a postgraduate staff counselor with Mental Health Services at TCNJ, where I provided direct clinical care to the diverse undergraduate and graduate population, from varied socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and LGBTQ+ identities. Currently, I work as a Learning Specialist, supporting the needs of students with learning and/or physical disabilities in a fee-based student support program. I am a life-long learner, who believes that learning happens beyond the classroom and never stops.
Experience: As a learning specialist, a certified school counselor, and now as a licensed associate counselor, I have been very passionate about being in the helping profession for many years. I find that everyone has a story to share and that most of my clients want to have the opportunity to share that story. I believe in a client-centered, holistic approach, where clients can feel empowered and motivated to help themselves attain their goals and reach their fullest potential. My counseling approach encompasses a growth mindset, mindfulness, self-compassion, and empathy.
Hobbies/Interests: I love spending time with my husband and two children, watching football, dancing, gardening, reading, hiking, and watching movies.
